If you’ve never been to Sherwood Pines before, you’re in for a treat. A good selection of waymarked routes – red, green and blue trails for all abilities. There are also many sections of singletrack deep in the forest that you are free to explore … if you attend one of Sherwood Mountain Bike Instructions’s sessions – you will discover many hidden gems deep into the ”Pines”. Not only that, but we can take you on the many hundreds of miles of bridleways outside of Sherwood Pines, including Clumber Park, Newstead, Worksop and surrounding areas – a fantastic network of great trails all pretty much connected with very little road.
The Robin Hood way – part of it – an ancient bridleway that straddles Welbeck and Clumber is a great track with a nice descent into Welbeck itself. Use this to make a large loop of North Nottinghamshire via Clumber and Sherwood Pines.
Don’t forget at Sherwood Pines there is a terrific bike shop with a good amount of spares and support available at excellent prices. www.sherwoodpinescycles.co.uk
